The challenge
Educational curriculums are rather narrow minded in that not enough artistic courses or aspects of art are being taught to children and students. Multidisciplinarity is key when it comes to innovation. The value of art and its disciplines can often be undermined or underestimated in solving societal problems or tackling challenges specific to a sector.
The solution
To find a way to incorporate more art into not only school curriculums but also possibly add art courses to certain university studies. Recent Example: Artists being asked to join in think-tanks to solve architectural and spatial problems related to building.
